About me

My digital abstract artworks are expressing from the heart and mind. Feelings come alive on the page and intertwining hard edges of glitches, digital static, rectangular forms and lines with the flowing paint layers brings new pathways, energy and excitement.

I love my hand and brushstrokes to show in each artwork as well as a strong interface with technology. I’m passionate about colour palettes and colour combinations, how emotive and powerful they can be.

SYNTHESIS

Celebrating art in transformation. Traditional canvas and brush move to the digital medium, embracing technology to create new pathways and meanings. Flowing brushstrokes meet interruption and continuity welcomes signal loss. Soft colours fuse with hard edged fragments and fluid joins with static and pixelation. Hand painted layers are intertwined with technical glitches to form a new connected whole.

 

The artwork is composed with vertical expression of lines. My vision of movement from the ground to the sky, to space and beyond. There’s a visible horizon line in the lower section of the artwork with compression and clutter below it and lines then stretching out once they break above it, accelerating at they gain height. A story of growth, the desire to explore and discover. The excitement of a new journey and what we meet along the way.

ALGORITHM (HOUSE OF ABSTRACT EXHIBITION)

Expressing calculations, collision points and intersections like open processing of the mind. Showing the construction lines and the technical components. Intertwining layers of an old-style brush with its bristles and thickness of paint with a hard round distinctly digital technical pen and further colliding flowing brushstrokes with the hard edges of rectangular forms and digital static. A celebration of transitioning from traditional canvas to the digital medium. The paint brush and technical pen layers are built on a glitched background showing signal loss. This is a reflection of embracing technology and using this platform to building new and exciting pathways.
